- What’s included? A 30-gallon cooler stocked with ice and water. Guests are welcome to bring personal refreshments and snacks, but we cannot accommodate personal coolers. ADONSA Tours follows NYS and Federal liquor laws.
- Are concessions available onboard? No, concessions are not offered. If your tour includes a stop at Boldt Castle, there may be concessions available for additional cost.
- Do trips proceed in rainy weather? Your Captain will determine whether to travel based on the weather conditions to ensure a safe and enjoyable voyage.
- Are passports needed? No, passports are not required for American citizens. Canadian citizens will need passports for land excursions.
- Where should I park and how much does it cost? Parking is available at Keewaydin State Park Marina 45165 NYS Route 12, Alexandria Bay, NY 13607. Veterans can gain free access to Keewaydin State Park with a valid NYS DMV Photo ID with veteran designation. There is an entrance fee to Keewaydin State Park. Check their website Keewaydin State Park for details. There is no additional cost for parking.
- Can I bring pets? Only service animals, such as guide dogs or hearing dogs, are permitted. It is not recommended that service animals in-training go along for the ride as boat rides can be uncomfortable and scary for many animals.
- Is smoking allowed on the boat? Yes, it’s your private tour, so smoking of tobacco is permitted.
- Are there restrooms onboard? No, there are no restrooms on the boat. However, there are various locations where restrooms can be accessed during the tour.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
- Feel free to bring your own food and beverages.
- We can accommodate same-day bookings if they are available.
- Children under the age of 13 must wear a US Coast Guard approved personal flotation device (PFD) at all times on the vessel. Please note that PFDs for children are not provided by ADONSA Tours. Your child’s PFD must be approved by your Captain before departure.
- ADONSA Tours is not liable for items lost overboard, such as sunglasses-so keep them close by! 😊
- There is an entrance fee to Keewaydin State Park. Check their website Keewaydin State Park for details, including information about veterans’ discounts.
- The marina and docks are wheelchair accessible. However, due to limited space, wheelchairs may need to be left behind in your personal vehicle.
- A cooler stocked with ice and water is provided.
Safety Note for Boat Charter:
- The charter does not provide PFDs for infants or children under the age of 13.
- Coast Guard-approved Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) are available for adults.
- Children under the age of 13 are required to wear PFDs at all times.
- For safety and regulatory compliance, you must bring your own PFDs for children under 13.
For added safety and comfort on your boat charter, it’s also worth noting:
- Although not restricted, tours are not advisable for infants. The motion of the boat and lack of suitable PFDs may pose risks for the little ones.
- Make sure everyone on board is safe and prepared for a wonderful time!
CANCELLATION POLICY
Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 48 hours’ notice of cancellation. Customers will receive a full refund or credit in case of cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price of the tour with no refunds.
